A beautiful tribute to your grandmother, Jane. I hope you find peace and are able to forgive yourself; we all regret not spending more time with those who have passed on. I loved and appreciated reading your reflections on your becoming a grandmother and your understanding of your own grandmother’s love for you.
I thoroughly know what you mean about becoming a gramma. I tell people that before when people would say, “There’s nothing like being a grandmother.” I would understand it intellectually, but once I became one, I now I understood it with my heart.
